Natural ingredients from the wilderness surrounding us. Crystal clear spring water from the fjells above. Artisanal gin — with a taste of Scandinavia.
Local’s edition
Knowing that mountain people are hard to please, we needed something special for the eclectic locals in our home town Åre. So we took our No6 recipe, tasting of Juniper, Pine and Heather, and added generous amounts of Old-mans Beard Lichen and Birch Bark for a slightly more distinct character. A limited edition London dry gin, inspired by the fjells, forests and people of western Jämtland.

Rosé gin
Life in the north is diverse. After a long, dark, and extremely cold winter — days grow longer, and life spurs. For those endless summer nights, when the sun never sets, and the song of the Black-throated Loon echoes, we created something different. Again, we took inspiration from the forests. Rosé Gin is a traditional-ish gin but with a distinct Jämtlandish quirkiness, distilled using unfiltered mountain spring water and infused with Scandinavian curiosities like Alpine Strawberry, Heather, and the elusive Arctic Bramble.

Number 6
We spent more than two years. Travelling the northern hemisphere for inspiration. Collecting slow-growing herbs, perma-frozen roots and wind-tormented plants. Creating hundreds of blends, tested in thousands of gin tonics and dry martinis. Eventually, we ended up with eight finalists. This one, No. 6, was the winner. An artisanal, small-batch, London dry gin. Distilled using unfiltered mountain spring water and natural ingredients. Classic, but with a Scandinavian twist, from Juniper, Pine, Heather and Old-mans Beard Lichen.

WINTER
We spent years, travelling the northern hemisphere for inspiration. Collecting slow-growing herbs, perma-frozen roots and wind-tormented plants. But dark are the days of wintertide, so we wanted to create something uplifting. A classic London dry gin, infused with the familiar scents and wonderful aromas of a Scandinavian winter feast — cinnamon, cardamom, oranges, cloves and rowan-berries.

The stripes
The colorful stripes on the label provides a visual cue to the content. An infographic about the actual ingredients, each represented by a specific color, the recipe and what the gin tastes like. For example; The No6 Gin and the Local’s Edition Gin have many ingredients in common, but the latter has more Old Mans Beard-lichen (a light grayish-green color), and added Birch Bark (a hazy white color). The Rosé Gin includes Alpine Strawberry, Heather and Arctic Bramble — all represented on the label in various reddish-pink colors. We are looking forward to adding many more beautiful colors to our future Scandinavian Gin blends.
